This little cover is pretty nice because it holds your Amazon Kindle Paperwhite E-reader and it also has room at the bottom for the charging cable! It’s pretty easy to make, although requires a bit of experience in the working-in-the-round side of things.

Items That You Need:
- A size H-8 crochet hook
- 1 color of yarn (cotton works best)
- (Optional) 2 or more colors of yarn (cotton works best)
- (Optional) A small crocheted motif
- (Optional) Some buttons
Kinds of Stitches and Techniques That We Will Be Using:
- slst (slip stitch)
- sc (single crochet)
- LBST (lobster stitch; basically a backwards single crochet)
- FO (fasten off , meaning slst and pull loop through)
- weave in ends (take the tail and weave it in so that it becomes invisible)

Front:
Round 1: ch 66 (66 sts)
Round 2: Beginning in first chain, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 18 sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 13 sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 18 sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 13 sts, slst and sc in next st (75 sts)
Round 3: 3 sc in next st, sc in next 20 sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 15 sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 20 sts, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 15 sts, sk 1, slst in next 2 sts, sc in next st (82 sts)
Row 4: ch 1 and turn, sk 1, sc in next 18 sts (18 sts)
Row 5: ch 1 and turn, sk 1, sc in next 18 sts (18 sts)
Row 6: FO
Back:
(Note: You can always do stripes on the back in two, three, or even four colors!)
Row 1: Ch 20, turn (20 sts)
Rows 2 – 24: sc in next 20 sts, turn (20 sts)
Row 25: FO
- (Optional) You can switch colors here to finish off and add a little bit of an accent color, or you can sew on a crocheted motif or buttons on the back for a cool design!
Row 26: Starting in the lower right corner of the cover, LBST the two pieces together, then put your Kindle in through the front! FO and weave in ends. Add a drawstring around the front to keep the Kindle in.
